The cottage has lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room, conservatory, enclosed garden, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms + downstairs WC and bedroom 4/games room with air hockey and table football. All appliances and bathroom equipment are new and visitors always give fantastic feedback and say “we will definitely be back”. Check out the comments page for details.

Centrally-heated but also with log/coal fire, free WiFi internet and local calls, TV/DVD, stereo with USB, games, books and Lake District walking guides and maps for guests’ use. Well-behaved dogs welcome. Dog basket, boot racks and extensive coat hooks/drying area in utility room. Washer, dryer, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and fully-equipped kitchen.

In the village you have a tea room, art gallery and a playground with tennis court. Bassenthwaite Lake 5 mins drive, Keswick and Derwent Water 15 mins. Buttermere, Crummock Water, Loweswater and the lovely village of Caldbeck are close by.
